CLIMATE CHANGE. Snow, Arctic temperatures and big freeze in Paris, France. Tourists photograph the Sacre-Coeur from the road beneath. Its park and steps covered with snow, beautiful as they are, have been shut to the public, because of the risks of slipping on snow and ice. Temperatures plummeted below zero, as low as -9. Very rarely, certainly not for decades, that Paris has experienced such freezing cold weather. Snow normally disappears in a couple of hours, this time it stuck around for days. Freak weather conditions and climate change can often be attributed to global warming and the ozone layer.
