Sebastian and his son Matias, Pantheon, Paris 2004..Enrique Carbajal Gonzalez, "Sebastian" as the sculptor is most commonly known, was born in 1947 in Chihuahua, northern Mexico. He is considered Mexico's foremost living sculptor. He is famous for his monumental geometric constructions, made from iron and concrete. He has over one hundred and twenty solo exhibitions of his work since 1968 across North and South America, Europe and Asia. There are some two hundred permanent sculptures, some weighing more than 300 tons and as high as sixty meters dotted about the planet, decorating urban and rural landscapes alike, many of which are viewable on google maps including Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Manzanillo, Chihuahua, Mexico; El Paso & San Antonio Texas, USA; Sao Paulo, Brazil with architect Oscar Niemeyer; Cadiz, Spain and Osaka, Japan..
