Roma Gypsies victims of racism and discrimination, often forcibly evicted or moved from one camp to another, marginalized, living on the periphery of urban centres. The Roma Gypsies originated from India where they left over a thousand years before. Tribes moved across Euroasia eventually arriving in Europe in the 14th century. They have survived 500 years of slavery and persecution. They moved from place to place, often nomadic in search of work.
