Borzecin massacre in forest

Twenty nine Roma were massacred and buried in a mass grave in the forest. Their remains were exhumed in 1959 and re-buried in a local cemetery in an unmarked grave. Borzecin, Poland..Roma Holocaust "Porrajmos", the Roma word means literally "the devouring", where it is estimated that between 500 thousand and one and a half million Roma were exterminated across Germany, Poland, ex-Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia during the 1930s and 1940s. The Roma were the first race to be subjected to experimentation by the Nazis, as part of Joseph Goebbels' 'Final Solution'.
