The Infamous notice at the entry to the forced labour camps 'Arbeit Macht Frei' which says translated - Work Will Make You Free. The Nazis put many signs around the concentration camps which had the opposite meaning to their literal sense. Auschwitz, Poland..Roma Holocaust "Porrajmos", the Roma word means literally "the devouring", where it is estimated that between 500 thousand and one and a half million Roma were exterminated across Germany, Poland, ex-Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia during the 1930s and 1940s. The Roma were the first race to be subjected to experimentation by the Nazis, as part of Joseph Goebbels' 'Final Solution'.
