Alexian Santino Spinelli and Nicolae Gheorghe Roma, Sinti, Manouche and Gitan community representatives come together with representatives of EU institutions, national governments and civil society organisations from around Europe at the highest level to discuss the situation of Roma communities in the EU and find ways to improve it. The aim to support Roma inclusion, which calls for a joint response to tackle Roma exclusion and discrimination in the EU. Organised by the European Commission together with the French Presidency of the EU. Brussels, 16 September 2008
